The Great Tonkin
Tonkin, located geographically between China to the north, Laos to the west, the former Annam and Cochin China Southern (Trung Bo current) to the south and the Gulf of Tonkin in the East, Tonkin form a quadrilateral of about Dogeared 700 km out of 700 km. Its area amounts to 115,700 km2.

Hanoi and surrounding area
The capital city of Hanoi, which is much its charming style since the French era with so many beautiful buildings built at that time then, is the largest city in Vietnam (Area of approximately 3,000 km square) since 2007 after élarggie southwards taking the former Ha Tay province and officially entered the WTO. Halong Bay
Halong Bay which was the first site recognized by UNESCO as a natural heritage for Vietnam in 1994, is the largest bay in Vietnam, located in the middle of the Gulf of Tonkin, not far from the East Sea with the area of 1543 km square, with three main windows: Lan Ha Bay, Bai Tu Long and Ha Long Bay. And the name "Halong Bay" which means "dragon descending" according distant legends.

The Cat Ba Island or Hai Phong
The island of Cat Ba revealing of the province of Hai Phong, is probably the largest island of North Vietnam, among the complex of islands of Halong Bay. One hour speed boat from Hai Phong City and an hour in normal tray from the side of Halong Bay in Quang Ninh. Hai Phong was a city where there was still enough of maisaons old and beautiful buildings built by the French during the French period.

Mai Chau Valley
Mai Chau Valley, located about 80km from the center of Hoa Binh in the direction to go to Son La and Dien Bien Phu on national road number 6. This is a beautiful mountainous bowl, nestled in with many minority such as ethnic White Thai, H'mong, Dao. Dien Bien Phu was a very famous place in all French fighter then and now AC is still said a few things. Located about 500 km from Hanoi by the national road number 6. Now Populated by King (Viets) and mainly White Thai and Black Thai who helped much to the Viet Minh at the time to make war against the French.

Ba Be and Thac Ba lake

Cao Bang and Lang Son
Cao Bang and Lang Son region is located on the colonial road (R4), well known in the early years of the war in Indochina, where it is considered the cradle of Vietnamese communist fighters who used the caves for avoid attacks of the French. The economy of Vietnam
The economy of Vietnam recorded since the late 1980s, economic growth increasingly assertive, following difficult years due to the Vietnam War. Wars, major expenses of armament and poor planning of the economy have greatly weakened the economy of Vietnam. The current political system
Vietnam is officially a "Socialist Republic" whose political system is defined by the 1992 Constitution, amended in 2001.
