Europeans tourists are visa-free until 2021

Whereas our neighbour from Singapore, Philippines or Thailand, they welcome on their area a multiple of nationalities without the visa requirement. As always, Vietnam checks their border when foreigners come and leave the country. Nevertheless, since 2015 the country takes the decision of the facility of the arrival of international travellers to have a better attractivity in the tourism industry. And this goal is quite benefit because the tourist’s numbers has increased by 108% from 720 000 to 1 500 000 travellers.

The Vietnamese 1st minister Nguyên Xuân Phuc has taken the decision which has been approved during the meeting of the government on May the 3rd 2018 in Hanoï. Until 2021, Europeans can use this extension who is extend from 15 days to 30 days.

To benefit to this, extend, travellers need to have a passport available 6 month after their arrival in Vietnam. So, the stays of maximum 30 days can be done without administrative steps.
