Hanoi - Lao Cai (-)

Meet on arrival by our guide and transfer to the station for the night train to Lao Cai, boarding train, overnight on train in the comfortable air-conditioned sleeper in 4-berth cabin.

Lao Cai - Sapa (B,L,D)

Arrival early in the morning at Lao Cai Station then transfer by road to Sapa, we admire the rice terraces hidden behind the clouds of the morning. Located 1,650m above sea level, with the temperate climate, Sapa was an old resort created by the French in the region of Fanxipan Mount (3143m) which is considered as the roof of Indochina. 

This city interest by the mosaic of minorities H'mong, Red Yao, Tay, Dzay Safo... For hundreds of years, they live together and conduct their ancestral life despite modernity. Rest at the hotel and lunch at local restaurant. 

In the afternoon, we will climb Ham Rong Mount (Dragon Jaw) where do we can not miss the opportunity to take great photos of the area. An interesting walk takes us to the theater where we will have the opportunity to attend the dance performance of five ethnic groups of Sapa.

Climbing Fansipan/Vertical drop of 2200m = 7-8h of trek (B,L,D)

Morning: meeting with our guide and our team of porters and cooks. Our excursion through first Cat Cat village of H'mong, Y Linh Ho river by a hanging bamboo bridge, bamboo forests and minority villages before arriving at a jungle at 2200 meters where we set up camp for the night. 

Our team of chefs is ready, we have dinner around the campfire in the middle of the night atmosphere of the jungle enjoying the exotic impression of a discoverer.

Climbing Fanxipan/Difference in 2700 = 7h of trek (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we continue our march towards hatitude 2900 meters, our tour ends in a jungle where there are giant pine trees and expansion of yellow bamboos sometimes we meet the colorful butterflies. At the altitude of 2900m, we stopped for lunch here, we have a panoramic view of the valley of Sapa. 

This afternoon will be most enjoyable as we go down: for we descend gently hatitude of 2700m where we camp. In the evening, the wind blows stronger, especially at night. Another night in the wilderness, but it's cold, our warm clothes protect us against cold and so we can enjoy a deep sleep.

Summit of Fanxipan/Gradient 3143m = 7h of trek (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we end our raid walking directly at the altitude of 3143 meters. After three hours of walking, bravo conquerors! We are the "Roof of Indochina", from this point, we see China in the north, Laos to the west and the chain of Dien Bien Phu. Happy with our excalade, we stay to enjoy this unforgettable moment. 

Afternoon, we descend to an altitude of 2400 meters where we spend the last night in the middle of the jungle.

Sapa/Night train - Hanoi (B,L,D)

Today, we take "relaxing" tour gently down the same path to return to Sapa. We arrive in Sapa, rest time is provided at the end of the afternoon, our bus transfers us to the station, a stop at the border Sino - Vietnamese where we see the confluence of the Red River (Red) belonging Vietnam and Nam Thi River (green) to China. 

Boarding the overnight train to Hanoi at around 20h30. Overnight on train in the comfortable air-conditioned sleeper in 4 berth cabin

The train arrives at 05h00 to Hanoi Railway Station, taxi to your hotel in Hanoi.
