Program in details (14 Day)

Hanoi - Arrival (D)

Arrival in Hanoi. Picked up by our guide and driver and then transfer to the center of city where we check-in the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or make a first exploration of the city. 

Welcome dinner at local restaurant, accompanied by traditional music.

Hanoi - City tour (B/L/D)

Full day to discover the capital. We start by visiting the Ethnographic Museum which includes the costumes, tools, musical instruments and some houses of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam (closed on Mondays).        

Then we visit the Temple of Literature which was "the first university of Vietnam" and Tran Quoc Pagoda founded in the 5th century. 


Visit Ngoc Son Pagoda on Lake Hoan Kiem. Walking in the Old Quarters of Hanoi allows you to understand the local life: Women in yokes, itinerant shops, rickshaws, neighborhood markets foliage, old buildings with colonial architecture, small street restaurants... 

In the evening: attend the puppet show water.

Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Tam Coc (B/L/D)

Having breakfast. Drive to Tam Coc known by our contemporaries Halong Bay on land, then visit Dinh and Le temples dedicated to Hoa Lu ancient kings. Arrival in Tam Coc, a bamboo row boat awaits you for an unforgettable 2 hours walk through a natural landscape with visiting the caves of Tam Coc. A show at once sublime and relaxing. 

Lunch in a local restaurant. Then take the bike ride to the Bich Dong Pagoda located on the hillside. Check-in the hotel.

Overnight in Tam Coc.

Tam Coc - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Around 8h00, pick up you at the hotel before depart for Halong Bay passing the landscape of countryside where the rice fields stretch to the horizon. Arrive at Halong around at noon and embark on the cruise boat for exploration and one night in the Bay. 

We visit the Suprise cave during the cruise. Seafood meal served by our excellent team.

Overnight on board at your comfortable private cabin.

Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L/D)

Visit the fishing village or Luon cave, before resuming the cruise in Halong Bay amid the innumerable islets. Around 11h30, return to the pier and drive back to Hanoi. Stop on the way for visiting the But Thap pagoda.

Hanoi - Saigon (B/L/D)

Breakfast and free time to relax or explore by yourself Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to Saigon. 

Arrive in Saigon, welcomed by your guide and driver. Transferred by the private car to the center and check-in the hotel (around 14h00) and free time for a first exploration.

Saigon - City tour (B/L/D)

The full-day is devoted to an orientation tour of the city, start visiting Cho Lon, discover the old quarters of its market, Thien Hau Temple and Giac Lam Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in the city, its architecture, layout and decoration remain almost intact since its construction in 1744. Back in the city center, visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Independence Palace and the Ngoc Hoang Temple and finish by the Ben Thanh Market.

Saigon - Can Tho (B/L/D)

We leave the bustling city of Saigon to join the Mekong Delta. Arrival at the dock Hung Vung (Ben Tre), we embark on a boat and cruise to the islet and observe the scenes of everyday life of the people living along the water (fishing ...). 

Visit a brick kiln whose mode of production is highly specialized and the crafts, then this is an opportunity to taste the local honey and many tropical fruits. Back to the boat to visit the fabrication of coconut candy. Walk or bike in the village through the gardens of coconut, rice, food crops in the dry land. 

Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue of excursion in a small rowboat that will lead us through a maze of arroyos surrounded by two rows of NIPAS, the main waterway of circulation of the local people. Return to the pier and disembark the boat.

Drive back to Can Tho and overnight at hotel in Can Tho.

Can Tho - Saigon (B/L/D)

Early morning, we take a boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, the largest and busiest floating market in the Mekong Delta. The picture of daily life is beautiful: hundreds of sampans filled with rice engines, fruits and handicrafts gather to exchange and sell. We leave the market, then visit the Binh Thuy ancient house. 

Back in Saigon, we stopped at Long An to visit the village of manufacturing the Long Dinh mats. Return to Saigon. Farewell dinner in Vietnam.

Saigon - Siem Reap (B/L/D)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Siem Reap. Arrival at Siem Reap, welcomed by your guide and driver on arrival. Check-in the hotel. 

Visit Roluos Group (Hariharalaya) which is about 10km far away from the center. The Roluos Monuments, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89 before J.C), is between the largest temples of the pre-Angkorian period, and mark the beginning of the traditional Khmer art. 

Visit Preah Ko erected by Indravarman I in the late 19th century, and Bakong, the largest and interesting of Roluos of Lolei group, with its four brick towers, a replica of Preah Kho, built on an island - now covered by the rice fields.

Siem Reap - Angkor Thom - Angkor Wat - Siem Reap (B/L/D)

In the morning, visit Angkor Thom (Great City) by beginning with the South Gate, the famous Bayon of 12th and 13th-century Baphuon, dedicated to Brahmanism, the Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of Leper King, Phimeanakas (heavenly Palace). 

In the afternoon, the discovery of the wonderful temple of Angkor Wat, the World Heritage and Phnom Bakheng Temple(mountain).

Siem Reap - Small Circuit & Grand Circuit (B/L/D)

After breakfast: visit the "Small Circuit" group: Ta Prohm, where the gigantic trees dominate the monastery, imprison the ruins by their impressive roots as a giant octopus with tentacles to keep their prey. 

Continue to visit Thommanon, Chau Say Teveda, Ta Keo, Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang terrace. 
                                                                                                                                 
Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the sites of Baray Oriental "Grand Circuit": Pre Rup, Mebon, Tasom, Neak Pea, Preah Khan.

Siem Reap - Beng Mealea - Siem Reap (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the temple of Beng Mealea, located 60km far away in the East of the city (2 hours of drive). It was built in the early 11th century by Jayavarman VII, according to the model of Angkor Wat. This area is only accessible to the public since 2010! The rough road allows you to see the beautiful countryside. Just a few tourists go to the temple, which provides an instant adventure. 

Picnic lunch. In the afternoon: transfer to Koh Keh for the visits. 

Farewell dinner in Cambodia. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Siem Reap - Tonle Sap - Siem Reap - Departure (B)

The morning is devoted entirely to the boat trip on the Tonle Sap, which is connected to the Mekong by a channel 100km long. 

We leave by boat on the lake, to meet the fishermen and the lakeside village on stilts at Chongneas. Free time until transfer to Siem Reap airport for your departure.
