Program in details (9 days)

  • Days 1

    Hanoi - Lao Cai

    Transfer to the station for the night train to Lao Cai, boarding train, overnight on board in the air-conditioned sleeper, comfortable.

  • Days 2

    Lao Cai - Sapa - Cat Cat village (B/L/D)

    Arrival early in the morning at Lao Cai Station then transfer by private car to Sapa, we admire the rice terraces hidden behind the clouds of the morning. Located 1,650 meters above sea level, with the temperate climate, Sapa was an old resort created by the French in the region of Mount Fan Si Pan (3143m) which is considered as the roof of Indochina. This city interest in the mosaic of minorities H'mong, Red Yao, Tay, Dzay Safo ... For hundreds of years, they live together and conduct their ancestral life despite modernity. Rest at the hotel and lunch at a local restaurant.

    Afternoon, we begin our bike to Cat Cat village of Black H'mong. The walk takes us to the waterfall in the village, the first contact with the Hmong make us interesting souvenirs. Back to Sapa motorcycle.

  • Days 3

    Sapa - Ham Rong - Lao Chai and Ta Van (B/L/D)

    Morning: we visit the daily Sapa market where ethnic groups come to exchange their agricultural products or sell their traditional costumes made meticulously hand women. It is also well-liked by young couples' place. Then we are going to climb the Ham Rong mount (Dragon Jaw) where we can't miss the opportunity to take great photos of the area. An interesting walk takes us to the theatre where we'll have the opportunity to attend the dance performance of five ethnic groups of Sapa.

    Afternoon, we take a walk to the Black H'mong village: Lao Chai and Ta Van where we have opportunities to discover the specific culture of each ethnic group. Night at Dzay's homestay we discover the lifestyle of the civilized ethnicity.

  • Days 4

    Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Ban Ho (B/L/D)

    Morning: After breakfast prepared by our local guide, we continue our trek to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Yao. In the village center, we admire, etc ... and meet villagers' hospital, we admire the authentic landscape of the Muong Hoa valley and contact the hospital villagers. 

    Picnic lunch in nature. Afternoon we cross the suspension bridge to continue to Su Pan village black H'mong where we descend to Ban Ho village of Tay

    Arrive at the village in the sunset. In the evening, we discover the life of this tribe, a good opportunity to learn Vietnamese cooking. Night at Tay's homestay, the house is on stilts.

  • Days 5

    Ban Ho - Sapa - Muong Khuong - Cao Son (B/L/D)

    Morning: we say "Goodbye" to the family of Tays to continue our march towards the gate of the Ban Ho village where our bus is waiting for us to return to Sapa and then drive to Cao Son, we'll make a detour to the Ta Phin village where we discover the old traditions Red Yaos. 

    A stop at the border Sino - Vietnamese where we see the confluence of the Red River (red) belonging to Vietnam and Nam Thi River (green) to China. Then the road to Muong Khuong and Cao Son, we arrive at Cao Son at the end of the day. 

    Dinner in Cao Son Lodge Resort.

  • Days 6

    Cao sound - Coc Ly - Bac Ha (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, we made the walk around the Cao Son village to see better the lives of Hmong in the region and then continued our hike to Coc Ly (If you are lucky enough to be on Tuesday, we will the opportunity to see a beautiful colorful H'mong market - the fair which takes place every Tuesday).

    Picnic lunch during walking. The bus picks you up and transfers to Bac Ha, which is the second-largest district of the mountainous border province with China 's ethnic minorities by several nests and especially where you can see and participate in the largest colorful market 5km from the border China - a fair that takes place every Sunday. 

    Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Bac Ha.

  • Days 7

    Bac Ha - Nam Kha (B/L/D) 6h of trek - Altitude 1400 - 1500m

    After breakfast, we made our hike to the villages around Bac Ha where we meet Flowery H'mong, Tay, Zay.... lunch in a house on stilts and on to the Nam Kha village to the end of the day. 

    Dinner and overnight at the inhabitant of Zays.

     

  • Days 8

    Bac Ha - Hanoi (B/L/D) 4h of trek

    Morning: After breakfast prepared by our local guide, we continue our hike to the town of Bac Ha for lunch where our bus is waiting for you and takes you to the Trung Do village for a beautiful ride through the whole village and beautiful river cruise Chay before returning to Lao Cai's city. 

    Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Lao Cai

  • Days 9

    Arrive in Hanoi (B)

    The train arrives at 05h00 to Hanoi Railway Station, transfer to your hotel in Hanoi.
